Also is there any web design websites that are helpful?

I don’t use a mac… but there should be pre-installed software on your mac that says i-life or something and you can publish automatically to the web and stuff…. also go to apple.com/downloads and they have this awesome software (which i wish they made for windows… sniffle lol) that allows you to code css design and all that

Notepad is the only true free editor (for anything).
Any other WYSIWYG web editor makes bad code.
If you are horrible with HTML, you’d better leave the web design for others…
If you are an artist (and preferably a good one), design your static pages with Photoshop or similar, as just a screen image.
Give your static pages (images) to a coder: he will do the rest and you will have a beautiful and efficient website.

I’m looking for something user friendly that I can download from one of the torrent sites so I can try it out. I just don’t know where to start. So, what is the best WYSIWYG software that is compatible with mySQL for a database driven web site?
….That I can use with Windows NT 2000 PRO?

I don’t have experience in web design, but I want to learn to build professional web pages. I know some html, but not much. Is there a cheap, easy to use and professional web design software that I could use easily without paying a lot? Am I asking for too much? Thank you!

I have been coding HTML for about 6 years. Started with Notepad as my editing program. Have recently decided to take some formal instructions in coding HTML and CSS. Notepad is the ONLY editing program permitted for the class. So it is back to Notepad.

However, years ago after doing 2 web sites I finally started using HTML-Kit, a free program from http://www.htmlkit.com/ It will require that you know something about HTML tags and code structure.

There is no software that will produce for you professional appearing web designs right out of the box. It will become necessary for you to learn HTML, CSS, Javascript, php and perhaps more.

I need to design like three of my own web pages for businesses I have recently started (will be starting) and I heard that there are free and very easy to use web design programs I can download from offline. Know of any or have any links?
