Hi – there are many pickup choices out there in the market today. For a strat type guitar fender makes a hot noiseless, tex-mex, and texas specials for a bluesy tone. For a les paul type guitar I like the gibson 57 classic pickups – they are super hot. Check out the guitar pickups offered up at GFS – they make some afforable cool pickups – best of luck

Taub, Love the Vid, am a member your lessons there are great too!. Thanks for opening my understanding of the reason for Drop D tuning! Some may figure it out on their own, but i never knew of its usefulness for power chords, now it makes perfect sence. Now to explain to my wife that I need to buy another guitar to keep in Drop D! i have another question though =] what sort of pickups are nice for a good thick juicy blues sound, the ones i have in my epiphone just aren’t really juicy enough for me. if that makes sense.
