WYSIWYG – preview

This is preview of a 10-minute performance film made by Anna Lucas.

Three impressive performance pieces by adults with developmental disabilities fuse exhilarating dance, cutting edge technology and film.

The film, shot at a live performance of the Anjali Dance Company in the UK, creates a remarkable intimacy between the audience and dancers. The pieces explore reality and virtuality through the dancers’ humour, honesty and skill and the imagination is given free reign.

For additional information about this film please visit its details page: http://www.gosprout.org/film/prog05/wysiwyg.htm

This unique film is part of the Sprout Touring Film Festival (showcasing films related to the field of developmental disabilities). Click the following link to see a complete listing of all the films available through this festival: http://stff.gosprout.org

WYSIWYG R23 LIGHTING DESIGN- DOWN WITH WEBSTER JUMP SHIP

LIGHTING DESIGN EXAMPLE USING WYSIWYG R23.
ARTIST CREDIT: DOWN WITH WEBSTER (www.downwithwebster.com)

I made this simple video to display the capabilities of using Cast Lightings WYSIWYG software to pre-program concert lighting. The song was programmed using MA LIGHTING’s GrandMA onPC.

There is some lag in WYSIWYG (evident in the video), but you must consider the Macbook Pro was running WYG, onPC, Windows media player (for the audio) and a screen capture program. Good enough to do some basic programming.
